Sarah A. Hofkens, CPA

Sarah A. Hofkens joined the Cook & Haugeberg team in January 2008. Ms. Hofkens graduated from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2008 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. In 2015, she obtained an MBA in Finance at Lakeland University. She is a certified public accountant and currently holds licenses in both Alaska and Wisconsin. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Alaska Society of Public Accountants, and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a member of the WICPA Young Professionals Committee.

As a manager, Ms. Hofkens performs and supervises audits, reviews and compilations for service and nonprofit organizations, including performing both federal and state single audits. She also has experience in auditing governmental organizations.

Her tax experience includes preparation and review of individual, corporate, partnership and trust tax returns. She specializes in exempt organization tax return preparation.

Sarah is from Wyoming and moved to Alaska in 2005 with her husband. In 2011, they moved to Wisconsin where she continues to perform and supervise audit and tax services for the firm.
