James F. Dieringer Jr., CPA

Mr. Dieringer, a lifelong Alaskan, joined the predecessor firm of Cook & Haugeberg in 1964 after graduating from the University of Washington with a major in accounting and a minor in transportation. He received his CPA certificate in 1965, became a partner in the firm in 1968 and managing partner in 1969. He became a senior consultant with Cook & Haugeberg in 1987.

Mr. Dieringer performs tax and financial consulting. He is an effective tax strategist and financial planner for a wide variety of clients who need assistance with complex business transactions. He also assists clients with computer software installations and their applications.

He has served as a member of the Alaska State Board of Public Accountancy and has been its president. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alaska Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is President of Fairbanks Youth Sports, past president of the Pioneers Home Foundation and served on numerous boards of nonprofit organizations.
