Amy Isaacson is a born and raised Alaskan. She worked in the banking industry for five years where she developed her interests for finance and accounting. In 2012, she pursued her interests and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Accounting in 2015 and obtained her Master’s in Business Administration in 2018 from the University of Fairbanks Alaska’s School of Management.
While pursuing her Bachelor’s, during her senior year Amy interned with Cook & Haugeberg and shortly thereafter became a full-time staff accountant in July 2016. Since working with Cook & Haugeberg, she obtained her CPA certificate, becoming certified in August 2018. Her assurance experience includes performing financial statement audits for a range of clients in government, non-profit, and for-profit industries. Her tax experience includes preparation of corporate, partnership, individual, tax-exempt, and estate and trust returns. Amy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Alaska Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys trail walking with her significant other and their dog, Murphy as well as enjoys spending time with her family at their cabin on the Salcha River.
